1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CA Team ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including trial users, paid subscribers, and administrators.
2. Description of Service
CA Team is a cloud-based practice management software designed exclusively for Chartered Accountant firms in India. The Service includes client management, task tracking, compliance deadline management, document storage, team management, and reporting tools.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@cateam.in if you suspect any unauthorised access.
4. Free Trial
CA Team offers a 12-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial period, you must choose a paid plan to continue using the Service. Trial accounts that are not upgraded will be paused and data will be retained for 30 days.
5. Subscription and Payments
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are exclusive of applicable taxes. Payments are processed securely. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. We do not offer refunds for partially used billing periods. Annual plan refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of payment.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited activities include: uploading malicious content, attempting to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems, using the Service for unlawful purposes, reselling or sublicensing access without permission, and reverse engineering the software.
8. Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of all data you upload or create within CA Team. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your client data, documents, or firm information. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of data you input into the Service.
9. Intellectual Property
All software, design, trademarks, and content provided by CA Team remain the exclusive property of CA Team and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service during your subscription period.
10. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime, technical errors, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CA Team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Use, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay applicable fees. Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days. After that period, data may be permanently deleted.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before significant changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
